Job summary

Micron Technology seeks a Manufacturing Engineering leader to direct Dry Etch, PCVD, Diffusion, and Implant operations in Boise. You will mitigate capacity risks, guide a high-performing team, and ensure program milestones are met on schedule while promoting a strong safety culture.

You will partner with cross-functional groups to build transparent metrics, drive continuous improvements, and deploy advanced analytics with Tableau, Python and AI tools to optimize throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, supply chain or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of front-end semiconductor manufacturing experience and demonstrated experience in people leadership, leading cross functional teams.
• Proven ability to establish both immediate and future goals and guide groups to achieve business outcomes.
• Advanced knowledge of Fab MES, capacity planning, floor scheduling, and line management systems with proven drive to automate processes and analyze data using Tableau, Python, and AI tools.
• Strong conflict management, negotiation and prioritization skills.

• Lead and coach on performance and develop team members to their highest potential.
• Identify and address systemic issues impacting equipment manufacturing availability, tool utilization, and cycle time.
• Drive a culture of safety by requiring and modeling safe behaviors, completing safety training, and conducting audits.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to build clear and transparent metrics, establish performance targets, and communicate goals to individual contributors.
• Innovate by researching, crafting, and deploying new operational management techniques and tools.
• Coordinate Fab-wide long-term business processes and ensure alignment with tactical and strategic operational plans.
