Job summary

PedSafety is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead and optimize manufacturing processes in Boise, Idaho. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Knowledge of material handling, tooling, jig, fixture design, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary engineering authority for manufacturing decisions and standards.
• Lead and mentor Manufacturing Engineers in developing and supporting processes.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, BOMs, routers, and drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive make-versus-buy analyses and capacity planning.
• Support New Product Introduction with manufacturability and transition to production.
• Investigate root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions.
