Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Manager - Area Manufacturing Engineer to lead the Dry Etch, PCVD, Diffusion and Implant engineering team. You will mitigate capacity risks, drive improvements, and uphold safety while ensuring program timelines are met.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering or related field and at least 3 years of front-end semiconductor manufacturing with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of frontline semiconductor manufacturing experience with people leadership.
• Experience in Fab MES and capacity planning with data analysis using Tableau, Python.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Area Manufacturing Engineering team to high performance.
• Identify and mitigate equipment availability and cycle-time issues.
• Establish metrics, targets, and communicate goals to the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to align long-term and tactical plans.
• Drive continuous improvement and deployment of new technologies.
