Job summary

Extend seeks a Senior Engineering Leader to drive the design and delivery of post-purchase services. You will mentor engineers, shape architecture for event-driven, serverless systems, and partner with Product, Design, and Operations to align roadmaps with business goals.

You will oversee end-to-end delivery with Agile practices and an AI-native SDLC, ensuring reliability of claims, refunds, and fulfillment while expanding AI-powered capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience in high-volume domains.
• 3+ years in engineering leadership managing engineers.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor a team of engineers with development plans.
• Provide technical guidance for event-driven, service-oriented systems.
• Define roadmap for claim servicing and fulfillment with Product.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features using Agile and AI-native SDLC.
• Maintain reliability and performance of post-purchase flows.
• Lead AI adoption and collaborate with product teams.
