Job summary

Extend is seeking an Engineering Leader to guide a team responsible for post‑purchase experiences, claims, and fulfillment systems. You’ll shape roadmaps, drive architectural decisions, and partner with Product, Design, and Operations to deliver high‑impact features in a fast‑paced, AI‑driven environment.

The role emphasizes reliability, scalability, and operational excellence, with on‑call rotations, CI/CD, testing, and a culture of trust.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience in high-volume domains such as e-commerce, payments, logistics, or post-purchase flows.
• 3+ years in Engineering Leader roles (Manager/Director) responsible for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor a team of engineers with development plans and regular feedback.
• Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight for event-driven, service-oriented systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations to define roadmaps for claim servicing and fulfillment.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex features using Agile and AI-native SDLC.
