Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc. seeks an Engineering Manager in Lynchburg, Virginia to lead engineering resources and define departmental strategies for on-time processing of ETO orders, maintenance, and product enhancements.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering, with promotion to Director of Engineering possible within 6–9 months. A BS in mechanical engineering and strong ASME knowledge are required, with relocation considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing design experience involving heat exchangers or HVAC components.
• Virginia PE registration desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct engineering resources and coordinate activities to ensure on-time delivery and KPI attainment.
• Maintain up-to-date project and sales order tracking systems.
• Oversee product maintenance, enhancements and testing per market demands.
• Dispositions RMAs promptly and effectively.
• Foster continuous process improvements and mentor staff.
