Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking an Engineering Manager in Lynchburg, VA to work with the Director of Engineering on departmental strategies. You will lead engineering resources, ensure on-time processing of ETO sales orders, and drive product maintenance and enhancements in line with ASME codes.

The role involves overseeing welding/brazing activities, ensuring ISO and QA compliance, and mentoring staff to achieve high performance and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 10 years manufacturing experience in heat exchangers and/or HVAC preferred.
• 3 years managerial experience; Virginia PE desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-time delivery and KPI targets.
• Maintain up-to-date project and sales order tracking.
• Maintain product maintenance, enhancement and testing per market needs.
• Disposition RMA's in a timely and effective manner.
• Coordinate resources to support QA and Shop Floor on demand.
• Develop and implement BOM strategy for all products.
