Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager in Lynchburg, Virginia to lead engineering resources and ensure on-time delivery of engineered-to-order products.

The role collaborates with the Director of Engineering to execute departmental strategies and maintain high-quality standards. Promotion to Director of Engineering is possible within 6–9 months, with relocation support and a short-term promotion path.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Three years managerial experience; VA PE desirable.

Aufgaben

• Manage departmental workflow to achieve on-time delivery and KPI targets.
• Maintain up-to-date project and sales order tracking systems.
• Oversee product maintenance, enhancement and testing as required by market demand.
• Disposition RMAs promptly and effectively.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2008 and Nuclear Quality programs.
• Mentor staff in products and processes; pursue continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with QA and Shop Floor for timely support.
• Develop and implement BOM strategy for all products.
• Manage welding/brazing activities, procedures, approvals and certifications.
• Review and approve engineering documents.
• Maintain third-party listings (AHRI, etc.).
• Seek new technologies and opportunities for continuing education.
