Job summary

Your Talent Team in Lynchburg, Virginia is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function, align with Director of Engineering, and drive delivery of heat exchanger and HVAC product development in compliance with ASME codes. This role offers relocation support and a path to Director with a promotion within 6–9 months.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day engineering operations, ensure on-time order processing, maintain quality and process improvements, and mentor staff

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 10 years manufacturing experience in heat exchangers and HVAC a plus.
• 3 years managerial experience; Virginia PE is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage departmental workflow to achieve on-time delivery and KPI targets.
• Maintain up-to-date project and sales order tracking systems.
• Oversee product maintenance, enhancement and testing per market demand.
• Review and approve engineering documents and third-party listings.
• Mentor staff and drive continuous process improvements.

Education

BS in Mechanical Engineering

Virginia PE desirable
