Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience involving design and development of heat exchangers and/or related HVAC systems and components.
• Three (3) years managerial experience; Registration as a Virginia PE is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage departmental workflow to achieve on-time delivery and KPI targets.
• Maintain up-to-date project and sales order tracking systems.
• Maintain overall responsibility for existing product maintenance, enhancement and testing in response to market demands.
• Disposition RMAs promptly and effectively.
• Coordinate resources to support QA and Shop Floor
• Develop and implement a BOM strategy for all products to support strategic objectives.
• Manage welding/brazing activities including procedures, approvals and certifications.
• Review and approve engineering documents; maintain third-party listings (AHRI, etc.).
• Seek new technology and opportunities for continuing education and process improvements.
