Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager in Lynchburg, Virginia. The role partners with the Director of Engineering to define and execute departmental strategies, manage resources, and ensure on-time delivery of engineered-to-order products.

Promotions to Director of Engineering are possible within 6–9 months, and the position offers a relocation package, STI up to 10%, stock options, and a path to leadership. Strong knowledge of ASME codes and HVAC design is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years managerial experience.
• Experience with heat exchangers or HVAC a plus.
• Virginia PE desirable.

Responsabilités

• Manage departmental workflow to achieve on-time delivery and KPI targets.
• Maintain project and sales order tracking systems.
• Oversee product maintenance, enhancements, and testing.
• Disposition RMAs timely.
• Coordinate resources with QA and Shop Floor.
• Develop BOM strategy for products.
• Manage welding/brazing activities and certifications.
• Review and approve engineering documents.
• Maintain third-party listings (AHRI, etc.).
• Promote continuous education and process improvements.
