Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Lynchburg, Virginia is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering efforts and coordinate day-to-day operations for Engineered-to-Order products. You will work closely with the Director of Engineering to implement departmental strategies and optimize resource use for cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.

Promotion to Director of Engineering is anticipated within 6–9 months; role requires adherence to ISO 9001:2008 and Nuclear Quality standards while

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering; Virginia PE desirable.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing projects in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code provisions.

Responsibilities

• Direct engineering resources to meet on-time delivery and KPI targets.
• Maintain project and sales order tracking systems.
• Oversee product maintenance, enhancements and testing.
• Dispost RMA's in a timely and effective manner.
• Coordinate with QA and Shop Floor for timely support.
• Develop and implement a BOM strategy for all products.
• Manage welding/brazing procedures and certifications.
• Review and approve engineering documents.
• Ensure third-party listings/approvals.
• Pursue new technology and continuous education.
