Job summary

Blattner is seeking a Manager Engineering – Instrumentation and Controls to lead the I&C engineering program for its gas generation segment, emphasizing reciprocating engines and aeroderivative turbines. You will represent company engineering from proposal to execution, shaping plans and ensuring reliable, operable, and constructible results.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree (ABET-accredited) required.
• 5+ years progressive engineering experience in gas power generation with leadership experience.
• PE license preferred; valid driver's license and good MVR.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead instrumentation and controls engineering program for gas generation projects.
• Coordinate with Blattner BUs and external vendors on design and integration.
• Ensure design basis for power block and BOP instrumentation and controls.
• Own protection and control design, interfaces, and commissioning support.
• Support safety standards, compliance with industry codes, and value engineering.
