Job summary

Blattner Company is seeking a Manager II - Engineering in Instrumentation & Controls for its gas power generation segment. The role focuses on leading I&C engineering programs from inception to construction, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure design integrity and project success.

The position requires a strong technical background in gas power systems, leadership experience, and willingness to travel up to 25% to client sites and project locations.

Qualifications

• Four-year Engineering degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited college.
• 5+ years of progressive engineering experience in gas power generation, with two or more years of leadership experience.
• Registered Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR).
• Up to 25% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead instrumentation and controls engineering program for gas generation facilities from proposal through execution.
• Coordinate and collaborate with Blattner Business Units, suppliers, and balance of plant vendors to establish design basis and integration.
• Ensure designs meet client reliability, operability, and constructability requirements and adhere to industry standards and safety practices.
• Support startup, commissioning, and performance testing of power block and BOP instrumentation and controls.
