Job summary
Blattner is seeking a Lead Engineer – Instrumentation & Controls to design and review control systems for gas power generation and balance of plant. The role requires collaboration with clients, OEMs, and internal teams to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in instrumentation and controls design for industrial projects, with strong preference for power generation.
- 5+ years experience with instrumentation/controls/communications specification, procurement, install, and commissioning.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field, from an ABET-accredited college; PE license preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review instrumentation and controls design for gas generation plant and BOP.
- Collaborate with OEMs and Owners to ensure safe, reliable designs.
- Mentor junior engineers and support internal standards.
- Travel to client sites and project offices up to specified percentages.
