Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company building consumer-centric fintech experiences across mobile and web. You will lead and grow a high-performing Frontend Engineering team that powers the Home hub, credit journeys, and product experiences with scale and reliability.

You will own the team's technical direction, drive multi-quarter roadmaps, and empower engineers through coaching and architectural guidance, while ensuring on-call readiness and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in people leadership.
• Proven ability to lead consumer-facing software initiatives end-to-end.
• Experience with React or React Native and frontend/backend collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a balanced team of engineers and provide growth feedback.
• Own team's technical strategy and multi-quarter roadmap aligned with experience initiatives.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of consumer systems; handle on-call.
• Collaborate across Product, Design, Analytics, and other engineering teams.
• Drive cross-organizational alignment and influence roadmaps.
