You will lead a cross-functional frontend-focused group and drive multi-quarter roadmaps with business impact. You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics, guide architecture and reliability, and mentor

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years managing and growing engineering teams.
• Experience delivering consumer-facing software and driving execution through ambiguity.
• Technical judgment to guide architecture, quality, and reliability decisions.
• Leadership of significant technical initiatives end-to-end, ideally decoupling or re-platforming consumer-facing systems.
• Familiar with modern full-stack development – React/React Native and backend-for-frontend.
• Calm, decisive presence through change and ambiguity; builds alignment and leads others.
• Humble, team-first leader who builds high trust and prioritizes growth.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a well-balanced team of engineers; set expectations and provide feedback.
• Own the team’s technical strategy and multi-quarter roadmap.
• Empower tech lead and engineers in design and cross-functional alignment.
• Own availability, reliability, and performance of consumer-critical systems; on-call and incident response.
• Drive alignment across organizations and influence roadmaps for partner experience and foundational teams.
• Partner with Product, Design, Analytics and other Engineering teams; build trust across functions.
