Job summary

The Front-end Engineer role focuses on the Marketplace and App Experience, spanning web and mobile, with remote-first work in the United States.

You will break down large projects, ship in phases, collaborate across product, design and analytics, and contribute to a strong engineering culture with on-call responsibilities and growth

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using Kotlin or Python.
• Able to take a simple problem and craft an extensible solution across components.
• Comfortable navigating a large code base and performing code reviews.
• Strong communication and ownership of growth and feedback.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Break down larger projects into tasks and deliver in phases with timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation and decisions.
• Support operations and on-call efforts by creating and monitoring metrics.
• Contribute to team community through growth activities and interview participation.
