Job summary

Naveera Technology LLC is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a large-scale AWS-to-GCP data platform migration. You will oversee design, data architecture, and hands-on engineering across AWS and GCP services, guiding teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure data pipelines and analytics solutions.

The role emphasizes enterprise data lakehouse design, real-time and batch processing, and GenAI/AI integration within a cloud-native data stack.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Cloud Engineering or related technology leadership roles.
• 5+ years of strong hands-on GCP Data Engineering experience.
• Proven experience delivering AWS-to-GCP migration projects.
• Strong SQL & Python/PySpark skills; expertise in data modeling and DW/ETL design.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migrations of enterprise data platforms from AWS to GCP.
• Architect and implement scalable data platforms on GCP (Lakehouse/BigQuery).
• Define data governance, security, and quality standards across the stack.
• Mentor and lead a team of Data Engineers and Tech Leads; manage roadmaps and delivery.
• Collaborate with US-based stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Drive cost optimization, performance improvements and CI/CD for data pipelines.
