Qualifications

• 8+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Knowledge of SQL, Linux, OLAP, and relational, NoSQL & multi-dimensional databases.
• Database migration experience — AWS DMS, Schema Conversion, and/or native/third-party replication tools.
• GenAI developer tools (Kiro, Claude/Claude CLI) for prototypes/demos and GenAI-based migration tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead deep, technical customer engagements on migrations to AWS-native targets including Aurora and RDS.
• Serve as a domain expert across the migration toolchain — AWS DMS, Schema Conversion, and GenAI tooling.
• Troubleshoot replication, performance, schema and data-validation issues to unblock migrations.
• Build prototypes, demos, and reusable artifacts for customer engagements using GenAI tools.
• Represent customer voice to influence product Roadmap and provide advanced technical knowledge to teams.
• Mentor and develop other Specialist SAs and contribute to field enablement and events.
