Cohere Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Deployment Engineering team in North America.

This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, blending technical excellence with people leadership to move fast in a high-growth environment. You will mentor Forward Deployed Engineers, own customer success from setup to delivery, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to bring agentic AI solutions to enterprises across finance, healthcare, and telecom.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years leading software teams in a high-growth environment.
• Hands-on background building and deploying enterprise software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Forward Deployed Engineers focused on agentic solutions.
• Own customer success from technical implementation to delivery.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to deliver AI at scale.
• Build relationships with technical stakeholders at customers.
• Foster continuous improvement and innovation across development cycles.
• Define scalable processes for agent development across client environments.
