Job summary

Anthropic in Seattle is seeking a Technical Deployment Lead to own end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI agent solutions. You will work with Forward Deployed Engineers to shape scope, manage stakeholders, measure value, and ensure successful production deployments.

You will drive architecture decisions, coordinate across regulated industries, and maintain executive briefings while advancing reusable delivery playbooks and field signals for product improvement.

Qualifications

• Led AI/ML engagements and deployments, including founder, engineer, data scientist, or consultant roles.
• Delivered AI/ML or LLM-based agentic solutions into production.
• Experience in a specialized vertical (finance, life sciences, pharma, retail, etc.).
• Able to lead architecture discussions with engineering stakeholders and coach technical direction with FDEs.
• Proven track record delivering complex, high-stakes technical projects for enterprise clients across multiple workstreams.
• Executive presence to represent Anthropic to senior leaders in high-stakes environments.
• Thrive in ambiguity and bring structure where none exists.
• Builder's mindset; aims to create a function, not join an existing one.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery plan for each engagement, with structured SOWs, milestones, dependencies, and value hypotheses.
• Lead technical discovery by mapping customer workflows and defining MVP scope.
• Run day-to-day engineering execution across Anthropic and customer teams.
• Own product scoping for field engagements and prioritize engineering backlogs.
• Manage the customer relationship with executives and procurement; communicate progress.
• Define impact hypotheses, baselines, KPIs, and report outcomes to sponsors.
• Codify reusable delivery assets and feed field signals back to Product/Research.
• Navigate security, legal, procurement, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage scope, changes, risks, and escalation with clear context.
• Oversee delivery operations, sprint ceremonies, and milestone reviews.
• Travel to customer sites (25–50%).
