Accrete, a dual-use AI software company, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead complex customer deployments from discovery through production stabilization. You will work with customer teams to translate workflows into AI-powered systems, write production-grade code, and shape architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering, deployments, solutions architecture, or customer-facing technical delivery.
• Strong full-stack experience building and shipping production web apps or enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React or equivalent stacks.
• Experience designing and delivering complex systems in fast-moving or ambiguous environments.
• Experience working with customers to understand workflows and deliver practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery across complex customer deployments from prototype to production.
• Plan staffing, prioritization, and delivery governance for engagements.
• Collaborate with customer teams to understand workflows and success criteria.
• Design and build full-stack systems and deployment workflows delivering measurable value.
• Write production-grade code across frontend, backend, data and integrations.
• Configure and operationalize AI agents, data pipelines, and system integrations.
• Scope work, sequence delivery, identify dependencies, remove blockers early.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and iteration in customer environments.
• Share field learnings to improve products and playbooks.
• Provide feedback to Product/Engineering/Research on model/workflow improvements.
• Coordinate with Deployment Strategy to connect business outcomes.
• Assist deployments in regulated environments with security constraints.
• Coordinate cross-functional work with other technical contributors.
