Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside customer environments. You will join a delivery team with mentorship and a clear path to leading complex projects.

The role spans config, customization and full-stack deployments, delivering tangible business impact from day one. You will work on cutting-edge capabilities, including agented AI platforms, data pipelines, and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system.
• Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents and experiences that take real actions for real organizations.
• Design agent intelligence: prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems.
• Own technical components end-to-end from architecture to production deployment.
• Build and maintain data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
• Create dashboards and KPI reporting to track deployment health and outcomes.
• Contribute to proofs‑of‑concept and MVPs moving to deployable state quickly.
• Collaborate with customers and partners, sharing best practices and enabling teams.
• Surface platform gaps and provide product feedback to engineers and product teams.
• Translate customer challenges into agentic solutions with Deployment Strategist.
