Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate and supervise maintenance tasks across facilities and equipment in our production environment. The role focuses on keeping equipment up, safe, and efficient while reducing downtime through strong preventive maintenance practices.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS degree preferred with at least 5 years of related experience, including supervisory experience and strong communication skills to advise on technical and management matters.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred; 5 years related experience including supervisory experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide technical and management recommendations through formal and informal communication.
• Problem solving skills and ability to analyze various manufacturing, maintenance and mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and supervising maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment.
• Maintains production equipment to meet safety and efficiency standards and minimize downtime.
• Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Oversees mechanics/technicians who repair and maintain equipment.
• Administers training programs to ensure proper operations and preventive maintenance and repair procedures.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts.
