Job summary

Johnson Controls offers an 18‑month Engineering Training Program with 4 rotational assignments across engineering and business functions, providing hands‑on experience, leadership development, and exposure to industry leaders. The program is fully on-site in Milwaukee, WI, with rotations possibly at other U.S.

facilities and company‑supported travel and relocation. You will collaborate across teams, receive mentorship from senior leaders, and pursue a full‑time role across multiple engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Willingness to relocate across the United States.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Complete structured rotational assignments across engineering, operations, product development, and other key functions.
• Apply technical and business skills to real-world projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges and drive impact.
• Receive mentorship and coaching from senior leaders and technical experts while developing problem-solving, communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Contribute to the successful and timely completion of projects, provide status updates, and deliver a final capstone project.
• Work on-site at your assigned Johnson Controls facility throughout the program and complete rotations that may require extended stays at other U.S. locations.
• Travel domestically and occasionally internationally for training, project work, factory or supplier visits, and collaboration with global engineering teams.
