Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a Facilities Coordinator for the Henry Samueli School of Engineering. The role supports the Facilities Director in overseeing all spaces, coordinating with campus departments on maintenance, safety and infrastructure services, and assisting with space management and moving activities.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, plus 1–3 years in facilities operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience in facilities operations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans.
• Experience with safety and emergency procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities operations for School spaces.
• Liaise with Facilities Management, EH&S, Transportation and Distribution Services.
• Assist in construction, deliveries, security systems, space management and moves.
• Provide oversight on safety, equipment installation and related projects.
