Hinge is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead Engineering Enablement within Platform. This hands‑on leadership role owns the team’s strategy, roadmap, and execution across developer tooling, AI-native capabilities, and platform workflows to boost velocity and quality.

You will partner with product engineering and adjacent platform teams to deliver durable, scalable solutions, define standards, and coach engineers toward higher-impact outcomes.

• Strong instincts for internal platforms and developer value.
• Experience improving developer workflows and tooling adoption.
• Deep technical depth across distributed systems, testing, and automation.
• Ability to balance delivery with long-term platform quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering Enablement strategy and roadmap.
• Own roadmap, decisions, and outcomes for the team.
• Build and improve tools, workflows, and platform capabilities.
• Treat platform work as a product and measure velocity/quality.
• Advance AI-native bets for faster, safer development.
• Set standards and drive architecture discussions.
• Grow and manage engineers, including coaching and hiring.
• Partner with Platform and product teams to align work.
• Represent Engineering Enablement to the wider organization.
