Harnham is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional sprint team within our engineering organization. The role focuses on delivering a fast-moving product surface, translating ambitious product goals into scalable solutions across core platform capabilities and AI-assisted tooling.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Growth to deliver high-impact initiatives while upholding high technical standards and fostering leadership development among engineers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in engineering management with a track record of delivering products and growing teams.
• 8+ years of software development experience with strong technical foundations.
• Proven mentoring, performance management, and team-building abilities.
• Experience making architectural decisions, managing debt, and upholding standards.
• Excellent communication to diverse stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Experience recruiting and representing the company positively.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of a cross-functional sprint team with clear priorities.
• Partner with product, design, and growth to define scalable platform solutions.
• Oversee development of platform capabilities and improve existing core systems.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, implementation, and engineering fundamentals.
• Coach engineers through regular feedback and career development support.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment aligned with the company’s values.
