Victaulic is seeking an Engineering Business Developer to cover Northern England, centering on Manchester. The role leads strategic business development, expands specification standing, and coordinates an annual market plan with a focus on owner and engineer engagement.

Responsibilities include building master and project specs, leveraging Salesforce, and collaborating with the regional team to penetrate key engineering accounts. Willingness to travel and reside near Manchester is required.

Qualificações

• Sales experience in commercial construction or engineering fields.
• Proven track record of achieving targets in complex sales.
• Must have mechanical engineering group contacts within healthcare, aviation, commercial and residential.
• Willingness to travel overnight.

Responsabilidades

• Strategically evaluate territory and prioritize target accounts with Regional BDM.
• Develop and execute an annual business plan to elevate specification standing and implement a market box strategy.
• Penetrate and expand Victaulic influence by crafting guidelines and master/project specifications.
• Leverage Salesforce to capture and share account/project details with the sales team.
• Facilitate effective project handoffs with the commercial sales team.
• Develop expertise in product features, market applications, and competitive positioning.
• Cultivate industry connections with clients and prospects.
• Stay aware of market trends and competitor dynamics.
• Engage with local trade organizations and professional associations.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
