Job summary

Burns & McDonnell's 1898 & Co. unit seeks a Digital Consulting Client Engagement Manager to partner with electric utility clients, understanding their challenges and delivering technology-enabled solutions that drive safer, more efficient operations.

You will lead client relationships, shape consulting offerings, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to win work, deploy IT/OT solutions, and grow our footprint across accounts with a data‑driven approach and strategic sales focus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related field.
Minimum 7 years of related experience, 3+ years in consulting with external clients.
Experience deploying/integrating operational technology platforms.
Ability to lead technology implementation projects for utility clients.
Strong communication and relationship-building with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage relationships with clients to understand needs and drive opportunities.
Lead client-focused strategies and action plans to drive sales.
Collaborate with partners to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
Lead the full sales process and support RFIs/RFPs.
Maintain accurate sales funnel data and achieve targets.
Mentor staff and promote continuous improvement.
Partner with sales and marketing to expand the business footprint.
