You will ensure alignment with client expectations, project scope, schedule, budget, quality and safety while coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in transmission/substation or related areas.
• Experience with electric utility or power industry project processes.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/update project forecasts, schedules and status reports per Jacobs PM processes.
• Lead project meetings; document decisions and action items.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; address concerns proactively.
• Monitor performance against scope, budget, schedule; mitigate risks.
• Manage communications with clients, stakeholders and teams.
• Escalate forecast overruns; manage change orders and invoicing.
• Coordinate engineering design, drawings, submittals and QA processes.
• Lead resolution of field issues per codes and safety standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and support siting/regulatory matters.
• Spearhead contractor/vendor sourcing, RFPs, bid evaluations, and awards.
• Identify and pursue follow-on work with utility/power clients.
