Job summary

Jacobs is hiring for a Senior Project Manager to lead energy delivery projects from concept through close‑out. You will direct multi‑disciplinary teams in delivering greenfield and brownfield high voltage transmission, substations, and related facilities, focusing on cost, schedule, and quality.

You will prepare forecasts and schedules, lead client relationships, and guide procurement, permitting, and construction activities. Travel to project sites and meetings is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET‑accredited engineering program or an advanced management/business degree.
• 10+ years’ project management experience in power delivery projects from initiation through financial close out.
• Experience delivering greenfield/brownfield OH T-line (138kV–765kV), Substation, P&C, SCADA, and related projects.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (controls, engineering, procurement, construction, permitting, land).
• Willing to travel to project sites and client meetings.
• Proficiency in cost analysis, forecasting, risk assessment, and mitigation.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; proposal development and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams across concept to close‑out, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Prepare/update financial forecasts, schedules, and reports on a weekly/monthly cadence.
• Lead project meetings, capture minutes, and distribute actions.
• Manage client relationships to align expectations and deliverables.
• Coordinate engineering design development, submittals, and quality reviews.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and respond to inquiries from clients and teams.
• Facilitate contractor sourcing, RFPs, bid analysis, and award recommendations.
• Support business development with proposals and materials for new opportunities.
