Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program, or a bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience involving transmission lines, substations, electric distribution, protection and controls, system planning, or reliability projects.
• Experience with project management processes and practices used within the electric utility or power industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience delivering effective presentations to clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including proposal development and negotiation.
• Ability and willingness to travel to project sites and attend client meetings as required.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and update project financial forecasts, schedules, status reports, and other deliverables per Jacobs PM processes.
• Lead project meetings and document decisions, action items, and responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and address concerns proactively.
• Monitor scope, budget, schedule, and quality; identify and mitigate risks and issues.
• Manage project communications and respond to inquiries from clients and stakeholders.
• Notify stakeholders when forecasted budget/schedule exceedances occur or risks emerge.
• Perform project administration: purchase orders, change orders, status updates, accruals, invoices.
• Coordinate engineering design development, submittals, and quality reviews.
• Lead resolution of emergent field issues per codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
• Track compliance with regulatory and non-regulatory requirements.
• Assist in siting, permitting, environmental, and regulatory matters.
• Facilitate contractor/vendor sourcing, RFPs, bid evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Identify and pursue business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
• Support proposals, presentations, and materials for new business.
