Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking an entry-level Energy Technician to join our field team serving residential customers in the Scotrun, PA area. You will learn to install energy efficiency measures to help reduce home energy bills as part of a supportive, people-first culture.

The role involves hands-on installation tasks, site setup and teardown, and occasional freight loading. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install energy savings measures (insulation, caulking, lighting, fixtures) in residential homes.
• Perform minor repairs to windows and doors.
• Assist with loading/unloading work trucks and keeping job sites organized and safe.
• Set up and tear down job sites as needed.

To join our team as an Energy Technician. This is an entry level position where you will work alongside team members and learn how to install energy efficiency measures to reduce home energy bills for residential customers.

For this opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can…

• Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters

• Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors

• Assist with loading and unloading work trucks

• Assist with keeping the job site organized and safe

• Assist with job site set up and tear down

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

• Ability to work under different weather conditions including extreme hot and cold weather

• Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time

• Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach often working in crawl spaces and under mobile homes for part of the workday

• Use repetitive hand motion & use of basic hand and power tools

• Use of a ladder at various heights (up to 3 stories)

• Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed
