Job summary

CLEAResult is hiring for an on-site Energy Efficiency Installer serving residential customers in the Metro Detroit area. You will educate customers on energy waste reduction and install basic efficiency upgrades, using a company van with a 10-hour shift four days a week.

You’ll travel within the defined territory, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and provide input to program staff on scope and effectiveness. Training provided and no overnight travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and various software.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 10 ft.
• Willingness to travel within a defined territory.

Responsibilities

• Install basic energy-efficient equipment and inspect homes for insulation, air sealing, HVAC equipment.
• Provide energy waste reduction education to residential customers.
• Travel within defined territory to customer sites.
• Engage with utility client’s multilingual customer base.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle; ensure safety and compliance.

Job Description

Please Note: Position is available in the greater Metro Detroit area. Candidates must live in or within a reasonable commuting distance from their territory.

The employee will have a four-day work week, working 10 hour days. You will be provided a company van and need a clean driving record. This role is remote with no overnight travel.

This is not a sales role! No cold calling required. Customers schedule their own appointments through a support team and scheduled appointments are provided to you.

You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. You would be educating power utility customers on Energy Waste Reduction. Can you think of a more timely business?

Install basic energy-efficient equipment, and inspect customers homes for insulation, air sealing, HVAC equipment and make recommendations for saving energy and money!

The Technician will work directly with our Utility Client’s diverse, multi-lingual customer base.

• Show experience or interest and ability to learn about home construction and HVAC equipment to be an effective educator on the topic.
• Travel throughout a defined territory.

Target Compensation:

$23.00/hr
