Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair at substations and PV facilities. Role is remote with heavy travel to varying sites; location details to be discussed in interview.

Requires OSHA 30, NFPA 70e, STS certs, and the ability to work safely in extreme conditions. Responsibilities include directing site testing, supervising trainees, and producing complete test reports while upholding SOLV

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state electrical experience.
• 3–5 years as electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time and obtain relevant licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead site testing, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting as directed.
• Ensure safety compliance and train Testing Technician Level I staff.
• Prepare accurate test reports and document results.
