Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair in substations and PV facilities.

This remote role travels heavily to job sites; expect safety-driven duties, supervision of Testing Technician I, and documentation of test reports and results. Strong electrical testing background with NFPA 70e and OSHA 30 is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to pass exams on electrical diagrams and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site testing, maintenance and repair as directed.
• Perform energized electrical work following safety standards.
• Prepare and review complete test reports and documentation.
• Lead training and certification for Testing Technician Level I.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors and teammates.
