Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2 to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities in substations and PV facilities. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician, OSHA 30, NFPA 70e, and STS certifications, with ability to work remotely and travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused testing operations in substations/BESS yards.
• OSHA 30 certification mandatory; NFPA 70e training required.
• STS certification and the ability to pass electrical schematic tests.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting as directed by management
• Perform site testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and energized electrical work per safety standards
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports
• Lead and assist in developing technical/safety policy and procedures
• Write and review test reports of work performed or supervised
• Coordinate with Technicians and Trainees to complete jobs to scope
