Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, to manage testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting in substations and PV facilities. This role is remote with heavy travel to various job sites across the country.

Responsibilities include directing site testing, ensuring strict safety practices, preparing test reports, and mentoring Level I technicians. A valid OSHA 30 and NFPA 70e are required, with extensive field experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70e, STS certifications required.
• Experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Perform energized electrical work adhering to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate test reports and documentation.
• Lead and train Testing Technician Level I employees and trainees.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed at all sites.
