Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, for remote work with heavy travel to VARIOUS job sites across the US. The role focuses on testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in substations and PV facilities.

Travel approximately 75% of the time is expected with safety as a core priority. The technician will supervise Testing Technician I staff, document test reports, and ensure compliance with NETA standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of electrician testing experience in substations or BESS yards.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification or equivalent.
• Safety Training Supervisor (STS) certification

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority and all employees follow safe practices.
• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Perform site testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and energized electrical work per safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Lead and assist in developing technical and safety policies and SOPs.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and coordinate with Technicians and Trainees.
