Job summary

RES is seeking a Project Controls Manager I to support solar, energy storage, wind, transmission and distribution projects. You will partner with the Construction Project Management team to keep work on schedule, within budget and up to safety standards.

Responsibilities include cost control, cost reporting, forecasting, earned value analysis, contract and subcontract management, change control and risk assessment. Travel domestically 51–75% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, or 5 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of project controls/commercial management in a construction environment.
• Ability to travel domestically 51–75%.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of safety and OSHA requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and be proactive.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Primavera P6; experience with Procore and cost tools.
• Advanced MS Office skills and cost databases.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost control processes across budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and earned value analyses.
• Administer prime and subcontracts and track change orders.
• Support PM with daily/weekly/monthly cost reporting.
• Review schedule impacts on cost control and risk mitigation.
• Lead risk analyses and contingency planning.
