Job summary

Conductor Power is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to support project teams with data-driven tools, dashboards, and integrated reporting systems for cost, schedule, and risk performance.

The role emphasizes advanced Excel, EVM, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration across cost tracking, invoicing, and scheduling within renewable energy construction. Travel up to 50% and a 4-year degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables, formulas, macros, data visualization, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail in project financial data, cost controls, EVM, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project trackers, dashboards, and reports to monitor production, costs, productivity, budgets, schedules, forecasts, and overall project performance.
• Manage project financial controls, including budgets, commitments, expenditures, purchase orders, cost allocations, buyout tracking, client billing, and Schedule of Values (SOV).
• Perform earned value, cost-to-complete, forecasting, and variance analysis to identify financial risks, support recovery planning, and improve project performance.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly project performance reports, dashboards, and analysis for project leadership and stakeholders.
• Support project scheduling, change management, and risk management activities, including Primavera P6 schedules, change orders, and Risk & Opportunities logs.
• Collaborate with project, procurement, AP/AR, and scheduling teams to ensure accurate cost tracking, invoicing, coding, and project documentation.
• Support project controls systems and process improvements across platforms including Procore, NetSuite, B2W, Power BI, UKG, and Excel, including system enhancements, testing, reporting integrations, and audit/closeout documentation.
