Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is actively hiring for a project management professional to lead and grow a team delivering energy projects from concept through close-out. The role supports greenfield and brownfield transmission, substations, and related facilities, with a cross-functional team coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction efforts.

The position requires a strong PM background in utility projects, exceptional communication, and the ability to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET‑accredited engineering program or an advanced management/business degree.
• 5+ years’ of project management experience in power delivery projects (CapEx/OpEx).
• Experience with OH T-line (138kV to 765kV), Substation, Protection & Control, P&C, SCADA, telecom/data centers.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept through design, permitting, procurement, construction, and close-out.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams and ensure client expectations are met.
• Prepare and update financial forecasts and project schedules weekly.
• Monitor budgets, scope, and quality; mitigate risks.
• Coordinate design development, submittals, and quality reviews.
• Negotiate changes and manage RFP/bid analysis.
