Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead power delivery projects from initiation through close-out, coordinating a multi-disciplinary team across design, permitting, procurement, construction and commissioning.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years’ project management experience in energy projects (transmission/substation), an ABET‑accredited engineering degree, excellent communication and cost-control skills, and willingness to travel. Hybrid in-office work options available.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to pivot to meet client objectives.
• Lead project meetings, prepare minutes, and distribute actions to team members.
• Manage client relationships to ensure expectations are understood and met.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cost analysis, forecasting, and risk management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams across engineering design, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
• Maintain project budgets, schedules, scope, and quality; identify and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate communications with clients and internal stakeholders; escalate issues as needed.
• Prepare and review project forecasts, schedules, and reports on a weekly/monthly cadence.
• Support business development with proposals and client materials.
