Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Southern California is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams through concept to close-out of high-voltage transmission, substations, and distribution facilities.

You will manage budgets, schedules, risk, and client relations, travel to project sites as needed, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to deliver safe, reliable energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from ABET-accredited engineering program.
• 10+ years of project management experience in power delivery projects.
• Experience delivering high voltage transmission, substations, and related systems.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage cost, schedule, and risk.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to close-out across HV transmission, substations, and distribution.
• Prepare and maintain forecasts, schedules, and reports.
• Lead meetings and manage client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and codes.
• Coordinate engineering design development and procurement.
• Support business development and proposals.
