Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a field install/maintenance technician focused on Direct Load Control devices for residential markets. You will install, inspect, modify, and service DLC equipment, while upholding safety, quality, and customer service standards.

The role requires basic HVAC knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to travel to job sites. A high school diploma and clean driving record are necessary, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in basic wiring, lighting, HVAC, or related tech work.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude required.
• Basic knowledge of building science/energy auditing.

Responsibilities

• Install/inspect/modify DLC devices.
• Demonstrate HVAC aptitude.
• Follow safety and quality standards.
• Travel to job sites as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours service.
