Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a Direct Load Control Technician to install, inspect, modify, and service DLC devices in residential settings. You will work with HVAC systems, electrical concepts, and building science knowledge to meet customer specifications and safety standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, strong customer service and communication skills, and reliable transportation. Travel up to 95% and on-call rotations are part of the job.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, modify, remove and/or service DLC devices.
• Demonstrate basic HVAC technical aptitude and understanding.
• Work with electrical/electronic and mechanical concepts.
• Ensure work meets customer specs and company quality standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation and travel to sites as needed.
• Maintain inventory, cleanliness, and vehicle safety checks.
