Job summary

Franklin Energy, Greensburg, PA, is seeking an installer to travel to pre-scheduled appointments to install energy efficient equipment for residential and small commercial customers. You will introduce and explain incentive programs and work with a team to ensure high quality installations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years in related tech work, 1–2 years in customer service, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in basic wiring, lighting, HVAC, or related tech installations.
• 1–2 years of customer service/sales experience preferred.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude required.
• Experience in installing technologies, manual labor and using tools.

Responsibilities

• Install energy efficient equipment and products per procedures.
• Travel to pre-scheduled appointments at apartments, condos, and other building types.
• Explain incentive programs to customers and trade partners.
• Maintain safety, quality standards and required paperwork.
• Conduct inventory counts and keep warehouse and fleet areas organized.
• Assist with program understanding, reporting, and data entry as needed.
• Perform routine vehicle safety inspections and submit reports.
