Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an Install Technician to travel to pre-scheduled appointments and install energy efficient equipment and products for residential and small commercial customers. You will explain incentive programs and ensure installations meet safety and quality standards while representing the company professionally.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of related experience, mechanical aptitude, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in basic wiring, lighting, HVAC, troubleshooting or related technologies.
• 1–2 years of customer service/sales experience required.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude required.
• Experience installing technologies and using tools.

Responsibilities

• Install energy-efficient equipment and products according to proper procedures.
• Travel to pre-scheduled appointments at apartments, condo units, and other buildings.
• Explain incentive programs to customers in relevant sectors.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain records.
• Perform safety inspections and assist with program-related tests as needed.
